The Atlanta Blood Services (ABS) was established as a community blood center in July of 1998 with the Blood and Marrow Transplant Group of Georgia (BMTGA).

Since that time, ABS has continued to provide lifesaving blood components for patients including cancer patients, infants and surgical patients. Our staff of more than 20 healthcare professionals is dedicated to providing excellent care for donors and patients.

ABS is registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is accredited by AABB (formally known as the American Association of Blood Banks) and Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT).
